Measurement of Quinine in Tonic Water

The kit comes with all the solutions necessary to analyze quinine in bottled tonic water. Included are five standards, a water blank, and an unknown tonic water sample.

Data Analysis

Also included are complete instructions for building the spectrophotometer, as well as a lesson on Absorption and Beer's Laws. In addition, the materials are provided for student's to graph their results both on paper and in Excel.
